The BMC, working with other industry organisations, are keen to get your views on the video/film content being made and watched and have launched a survey to find out more. Specifically, they want to know what content people actually want to watch, as well as why they’re watching it and what motivates them to share it.
The BMC, the outdoor industry, content providers and others are all aware that there are many, many hours of content produced and uploaded but they want to hear directly from the consumers what you actually like to watch. The survey will take about five to ten minutes to complete, depending on how active in different outdoor sports you are. By taking part in the survey you will not only be helping to shape the content which is being produced but you could win £100 in Cotswold Outdoor / Snow + Rock vouchers as well.
Do you like epic drone shots or intimate close ups, pumping bass or the sound of silence, inspirational stories or straightforward skills clips? This survey is your chance to tell the BMC and the film makes what you actually like to watch.
The survey is being conducted in partnership with the Outdoor Industries Association (OIA), Kendal Mountain Festival and BMC Sheffield Adventure Film Festival.
The results will be published on the BMC website in mid-2019 and will influence the content on BMC TV and beyond.
Alex Messenger, Head of Marketing and Communications at the BMC, said; “We’re hoping it will be a definitive snapshot the outdoor world right now. Could you share this link and help us reach our target of 10,000 respondents.” Click here to go through to the survey link and share your thoughts…
In addition to click through to undertake the survey Alex is keen that people share the story; “If it’s easier, then just share one of the BMC social posts – any of these are good”…
