Julia Chanourdie repeats Ground Zero at Tetto di Sarre

Julia Chanourdie has repeated Ground Zero (F9a) at Tetto di Sarre in the Valle d’Aosta.

Ground Zero, Italy’s first F9a, was originally climbed by Alberto Gnerro on September 11^th 2002 – exactly 12 months after the 9/11 World Trade Centre attacks. The French climber has been trying the route since last year having repeated L’avaro (F8c+). Last year she finished 6^th in the Lead World Cup. Ground Zero is Julia Chanourdie’s first F9a.
