Following the lead comp in the World Championships at Innsbruck, Swiss climber Katherine Choong, jumped straight on a plane to Norway for a quick trip. Getting down to business straight away Katherine quickly redpointed the first pitch of Nordic Flower (F8b+).
Her main objective however was the classic Nordic Plumber, a Hanshallaren testpiece which has attracted many climbers this summer. Digging deep and relishing the high redpoint crux on the finishing rail, Katherine quickly succeeded on her mission to add Nordic Plumber to her impressive CV just ten days after arriving in Flatanger.
During her short stay in Flatanger, Katherine also onsighted Flaggermusmannen (F8a) and Gusinto (F8a+). On August 22nd, prior to her Flatanger trip, Katherine redpointed her first F9a, Cabane Au Canada at Au Rawyl, on her fourth day on!
