Contrary to the belief that there’s no good routes left to climb in the UK, Caff continues to churn them out at an astonishing pace. Arguably Anglesey is still rich in lines – assuming you know where to look for them and then assuming you pack the necessary skills to climb them. Back in February Caff climbed The Gravity Wave (E8 6c) in Trearddur Bay. On this occasion Caff was tipped off about the line by George Smith but Caff told CLIMBER: “Still lots to do for sure. The new Gogarth South guide has got great pics in - a lot of it gets forgotten as it's banned for some of the year.”
His latest route Divided Britain, in 1 Stack Zone, involves a massive roof. Reporting the line on social media, James commented that Divided Britain was “A must for knee bar connoisseurs”. It looks heinous steep and hard from the pixs so we couldn’t resist asking him about the grade; “Probs E7 6c and about easy 8a but looks 9a from beneath”!
Dan Macmanus also lead the route.
