Montane secures Gore licence

Montane and become the first technical outdoor brand to secure Gore licence in over a decade.
Specialising in producing lightweight performance clothing and equipment, Montane will mark the occasion by releasing a new collection of GORE-TEX based clothing which will include shell and softshell jackets, pants and accessories.
Montane’s brand director Jonathan Petty said, “From the outset, our philosophy has always been about enabling aspiring athletes to go further, faster by offering a combination of premium, specifically selected fabric technologies, cutting edge construction techniques and ensuring that our clothing and accessories are designed for distinct outdoor mountain pursuits. A number of GORE-TEX fabrics will be used in Montane's new range including:
GORE-TEX® Pro for intense activities and extreme weather conditions
GORE-TEX® Active for high aerobic activities and cooler, mixed weather
GORE® C-Knit™ backer technology for low to mid activity levels and variable weather conditions
Gore WINDSTOPPER® is also incorporated in the collection to deliver high performance windproof breathable functionality.
