Patagonia launches film initiative to support Bears Ears National Monument

Global outdoor company, Patagonia, have just launched a film initiative to support Bear Ears National Monument in Utah.

The Bears Ears region has been under treat since 2013 as a result of which Patagonia and the outdoor industry boycotted the Outdoor Retailer trade show. In the latest initiative Patagonia, have released a collection of interactive 360-degree films highlighting the culture and recreational significance of the threatened region in south-eastern Utah.
In This is Bears Ears National Monument, powered by Google’s 360 technology, Patagonia’s ten short films create an experience of total immersion through the storytelling of Native American tribal leaders and outdoor athletes.
The film experience concludes with a call-to-action to Secretary Zinke, asking him to stand up for public lands and defend Bears Ears National Monument.
