Climb Istria is reporting that many of the world’s best sport climbers de-camped after the final World Cup event in Kranj at the weekend and rocked-up at Misja Pec. And now, not surprisingly, plenty of impressive ascents are getting done.
Adam Ondra, is back on his link-up project in Tedi’s Cave. Suggestions are that this is going to be very hard – no surprise there then!
Ramon Julian Puigblanque, bashed out a handful of impressive on-sights including Marietica (F8b) and Corrida (F8c) – this after warming-up on a couple of F8a/8a+’s.
Some relatively hard redpointing has happened too; Sachi Amma sending Histerija (F8c+) third try, Sebastian Halenke did Konec mira (F8c/+) on his first try. Jakub Komecny – who is just 16-years old – did Corrida (F8c) on his third go.
Winner of the women’s world cup, Mina Markovic flashed Gorenjski snops (F8b) whilst Tim Reuser did the same on Mrtvaski ples (F8b).
